Kurtis Chapman got the win in net for the Grizzlies with his 33-save performance. John Hawthorne faced 41 Grizzlies shots.

Alex Newhook scored first at 15 seconds to set the tone. The Grizzlies got up to a 3-1 lead before Marcus Walter scored just his second goal of the season at 19:27 of the third period. It was a desperation powerplay marker, but a case of too little – too late.
