“UBCO put on a great event and what an incredible round by Jacob Vanderpas from Langara, shooting 61 on Sunday,” stated Chargers Head Coach John Randle. “Our guys played well for the most part but struggled with a few big numbers on a couple holes. If we can eliminate those mistakes, we will fight our way back into the conference championship race.”
The Chargers look to gain some ground this weekend as PACWEST golf action continues with the VIU Invitational Tournament, September 23-24, at the Morningstar Golf Course in Parksville.
