The Vikes women pushed their winning streak to ten straight games last weekend with a sweep over Mount Royal at home. Dani Sinclair‘s hoops squad enter their final weekend of the regular season holding a record of 14-4 and are prepared for a home-and-home set with the UBC T-Birds.
The final weekend of the season is ahead for a Vikes team that remains locked in a battle for playoff positioning. A split with Mount Royal last weekend puts the team in thick of a nine team group that is battling for eight remaining playoff spots It won’t be an easy finish to their season when the 10-8 Vikes play a home-and-home set with the 15-3 UBC T-Birds.
The Vikes kick off the second half of their season by travelling south of the border to sunny San Diego. The team comes into the second half with momentum, having been ranked 22nd in the latest NAIA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll.

Fresh off capturing the title at the UVic Indoor Tournament, the Vikes will now head to Duncan for their final tournament of the indoor season, looking to make it two wins in a row at the BC Senior Indoor Tournament.

The Vikes men’s field hockey team will prepare to host the Surrey Lions this weekend. After last weekend’s home game against United Brothers was cancelled due to weather the Vikes will be eager to hit the turf on the hunt for their first win of 2018.

The Vikes men host the Nanaimo Hornets this Saturday looking to pick up their first win of 2018. The team went toe-to-toe with the league-leading UBC T-Birds last weekend before losing on the final possession of the game.

The Vikes rowing teams will take over the CARSA Performance Gym this weekend as they host the annual Monster Erg competition. With over 33 events, ranging from Junior Novice to Masters, it serves as a qualifier for the CRASH-B World Indoor Rowing Championships in Boston, Mass.
