Upcoming games and special events for the University of Victoria Vikes varsity teams. All times are listed in Pacific Time


The Vikes women ran their winning streak to 13 games with a dominant playoff victory over Fraser Valley last weekend. The team now heads into the Canada West quarter-finals where they will travel to Alberta to play the fourth-seeded Calgary Dinos. The quarter-finals will be a best-of-three series with the winner advancing to the semifinals.

After three straight games have been postponed due to weather, the Vikes men will be looking to get their season back on track when they travel to Vancouver to take on the sixth-place Hawks.

Saturday, Feb. 17: Vikes at Vancouver Hawks (1:30 p.m. Vancouver, BC)

The Vikes men, ranked No. 6 in the NAIA, are set to compete in their first tournament for 2018. The team heads to Phoenix, AZ. for the ACU Spring Invitational tournament.

Feb. 12-13: Vikes at Arizona Christian University Spring Invitational (Phoenix, AZ)

A pair of regattas are on tap for the Vikes this week as the teams move back outside after strong showings inside the CARSA Performance Gym at the 33rd annual Monster Erg. The Vikes will compete at both Trial Eights and the Head of the Shawnigan this week.

After winning their last game, 52-24 over the Nanaimo Hornets, the Vikes will remain at Wallace Field this weekend looking to pull off an upset of third-place Burnaby Lake.

The Vikes men wrap up their spring Phoenix tour with a game against USL member Phoenix Rising. They defeated Benedictine University 2-0 to start their tour.

Tuesday, Feb. 13: Vikes at Phoenix Rising reserves (3:00 p.m., Phoenix, AZ)

The Vikes women play the final game of their Florida tour against Florida International University, who are coached by former Canadian National Team player Sharolta Nonen. So far the Vikes have tied Florida Gulf Coast University and lost to Florida Atlantic University on their trip.
