Upcoming games and special events for the University of Victoria Vikes varsity teams. All times listed below are in Pacific Time.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
The Victoria Vikes women’s basketball team cruised past the Fraser Valley Cascades last Friday with a 80-61 win on their home court in CARSA. The win advances the Vikes to a best-of-three quarterfinal series against the second seed in the Canada West conference, the Regina Cougars. The two teams met earlier this season during the first weekend in January. The Cougars defeated the Vikes 85-50 in the Friday night game on Jan.4 but Victoria rebounded the following day when Katie Langdon sunk a basket in the final second to push the Vikes past Regina 70-69. Regina concluded their regular season with an eight-game winning streak including two wins in the final weekend over the number one seeded Saskatchewan Huskies.

GOLF
The Vikes men’s golf team is down in Buckeye, AZ this week for their first event of 2019. The Vikes will compete in the ACU Spring Invitational, a two-day tournament held at the Verrado Golf Course hosted by the Arizona Christian University.

ROWING
The men and women’s rowing teams have a pair of events this week. First up, they will conduct their Trail Eights throughout the week before both teams compete in the Head of the Shawnigan event held in Shawnigan Lake, B.C.
