Victoria’s first annual “Cross Fit 400 Challenge” to take place at UVic

The 2016 Christie-Phoenix Insurance Victoria Run Series has added a Crossfit challenge event to the Saturday, June 4th track meet.
The races dubbed, the "Cross Fit 400 Challenge", will pit teams of four against each other. Each race will be run as a single 400-metre event with a maximum of eight competitors per race, until all competitors have finished. The four-person team with the lowest total accumulated time will win the first annual event, trophy and prize pack.
Teams of four must include at least one female competitor.
Proceeds from the Challenge will go to support KidSport Greater Victoria, the charity-of-choice of the Christie-Phoenix Insurance Victoria Run Series.
