The Victoria Shamrocks have had a great start to the 2016 season, going o-3 with one win against the New Westminster Salmonbellies and two against the Nanaimo Timbermen, winning both at home and on the road on the back half of their first back-to-back set.

The Salmonbellies have their back against the wall early and are typically very tough team to play against in their oqn building. Thursday, the Shamrocks are going into the Salmonbelly of the beast at Queen’s Park Arena in New Westminster.

Friday they return home to the Q Centre to face the Maple Ridge Burrards with a 7:45 PM start. The Burrards are off to a strong start with a 2-0 record, outscoring their opponents 17-11.
