The Victoria Royals are proud to announce that they have earned the Scotty Munro Memorial Trophy for the best overall record in the WHL during the 2015-16 regular season.

The Royals have collected a 48-16-3-3 record and 102 points through 70 games to ensure that they finish the regular season as the top club in the WHL for the first time in the franchise’s history. This also marks the club’s first Western Conference and BC Division titles.

This season the Royals have set the team franchise mark for goals scored (273) and home wins (25).

The Royals will have home ice advantage in the first round of the 2016 WHL Playoffs with Games one and two of the best-of-seven series occurring at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre against an opponent still to be determined. Game one will take place on Friday, March 25th and Game two on Saturday, March 26th. Puck drop for both contests is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
