The Victoria Royals are proud to announce that assistant coach J.F. Best will be joining Team Denmark as a consultant in Performance Analysis at the upcoming 2018 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship.

The annual tournament will be held in Buffalo, New York from December 26, 2017 to January 5, 2018.

Best has worked as a consultant in Performance Analysis for the Danish Ice Hockey Federation since 2015.  Recently, he joined Team Denmark as Performance Analyst at both the 2017 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships in Montreal and Toronto, and at the 2017 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championships in Cologne, Germany, and Paris, France.

Best was hired by the Royals as an assistant coach in June of this year.

Victoria returns to action, after the holidays, with a pair of home games against the Prince George Cougars on Wednesday, December 27th and Thursday, December 28th. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. for both contests.
