The Victoria Royals will take on the Red Deer Rebels tomorrow night at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre for their lone home game this week. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

HOME COOKIN’: The Royals have enjoyed success at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre so far this season. Through 10 games played on home ice, Victoria has posted an 8-1-1-0 record, which places them in a tie for the second-most home wins in the WHL. The Royals also rank third in the WHL in home winning percentage (0.850). Victoria has tallied 48 goals at home, which is the second-highest in the league.

RECORD SEEKING SOY: Victoria veteran Tyler Soy (123g-136a) is five points away from tying the franchise record for most career points. The record is currently held by former Royal and Chilliwack Bruin Brandon Magee who recorded 264 points (103g-151a) in 318 WHL contests. On October 21st versus the Brandon Wheat Kings, Soy passed Victoria alumnus Jack Walker (248) to become the Royals’ career points leader.

Tuesday’s night contest against the Rebels will mark the first of four Rain check nights this season. This means any unused full season, half season or fan pack tickets can be exchanged at the box-office windows for additional tickets to the game. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to avoid longer line-ups.
