The Victoria Royals will welcome their BC Division rivals, the Kamloops Blazers, on Friday and Saturday night at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Puck drop for both games is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
NATIONAL RECOGNITION: Victoria forward Alex Forsberg was named the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) and WHL Player of the Week after he recorded seven points (2g-5a) in the Royals two game sweep of the Portland Winterhawks this past weekend and is tied for first in WHL scoring. The Waldheim, SK native will also be taking part in his 200th WHL regular season game this Friday against the Kamloops Blazers.
STRONG START: The last time the Victoria Royals began a regular season with a 2-0-0-0 record was in their sophomore year during the 2012-13 campaign. Victoria swept a two-game series against the Vancouver Giants before playing the Kamloops Blazers on home ice. The Royals started that season 3-0-0-0 after they defeated the Blazers 4-3 in the first game of the series.

SATURDAY – GOLF INDUSTRY NIGHT
