Debuting Royals: Forwards Phillip Schultz and Ty Yoder, along with defenceman Parker Malchuk made their WHL debuts in tonight’s game. Additionally, forwards Logan Doust, Tanner Sidaway, Tyler Lees, Brandon Cutler and defenceman Jameson Murray skated in their first contest as a Royal.

Century Mark: In tonight’s contest, Royals’ forward D-Jay Jerome played in his 100th career regular season game in the WHL. The Lethbridge, AB native was acquired at last year’s trade deadline from the Prince Albert Raiders.
