Victoria Royals acquire two first round draft picks from Saskatoon for forward Eric Florchuk

The Victoria Royals today announced that the club has acquired two WHL Bantam Draft first round picks (2019 & 2021) and a fourth-round pick in 2018 from the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for 2000-born forward Eric Florchuk.

A native of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, Florchuk has recorded 28 points (7g-21a) in 43 games for the Royals this season. Florchuk is in his second year in the WHL and has registered 37 points (10g-27a) in 94 career regular season games with Victoria.

The Royals return home for a weekend series with the Kamloops Blazers on Friday and Saturday at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Friday is Ugly Blazer Night, while Saturday is Country Night.
