The Accent Inns/Russ Hay’s Cycling Team has joined the National Sport Trust Fund (NSTF) and will be able to accept tax-deductible donations to fund its efforts to support and develop amateur cycling talent in Western Canada.

Since 2012 the team has produced some notable results and champions and has been a catalyst in assessing talent and developing riders. Notably, in 2013 Curtis Dearden won the Canadian National Elite Men’s Time Trial Champion; in 2014 Cody Canning won the UCI Pro Challenge Sprint in Quebec and was then selected for the Tour of Alberta Canadian National Team, and this year Danick Vandale was crowned Western Canada Summer Games Time Trial Champion.

The National Sport Trust Fund (NSTF) is a philanthropic gift-giving program established through the Canadian Council of Provincial and Territorial Sport Federations (CCPTSF) for the development of amateur sport on a national level.  The program is administered provincially in BC by Sport BC, the Fund Manager.
