The Victoria City Rowing Club is proud to announce that Carl Schoch finished in third place at the Erg Sprints World Rowing Indoor Championships this past weekend in Alexandria, VA.

Carl captured the bronze medal in the Veteran C Men’s 2000-metre sprint and finished his race with a time of 6:39.5. He qualified for the championships earlier this month at the University of Victoria’s Monster Erg where he earned a first-place finish in the Masters Men C+ event.

Carl competed against 16 other athletes from clubs around the world, including Canada, the United States, Great Britain, and Italy.
