The Victoria Royals will host the Tri-City Americans on Friday and Saturday night at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Friday’s contest is Remembrance Day where the Royals will honour the Canadian Armed Forces and Veterans.

PK PARTY: The Royals hold the best penalty kill on home ice in the WHL (Western Hockey League), as well as the fifth-best mark in all contests. The Royals have only allowed three goals while shorthanded through nine home contests this year for a mark of 35/38=92.1%. Overall, Victoria has posted a success-rate of 70/83=84.3% on the penalty kill this season.

SPECIAL JERSEYS: Victoria will wear new special commemorative military jerseys in honour of the Canadian Forces and Veterans for this event. The jerseys will feature the Canadian Forces logo and will be available on Friday and throughout the season via a silent auction. Proceeds will support The Poppy Fund, the Military Family Resource Centre and the Victoria Royals Education & Scholarship Fund.




–          The Royals will honour the Canadian Armed Forces and Veterans on Remembrance Day. A colour party will accompany the anthem performer during O Canada.


–          Any Canadian Forces member that shows their military ID prior to puck drop on Remembrance Day will receive a free ticket for the game.

–          Tickets to all other November home games are available at a special rate of $15 with a valid military ID.

–          The Royals are proud to partner with the British Columbia Provincial Employees Community Services Fund (PECSF) for the 50/50 proceeds for this game, which will be divided among two groups: Burnside Gorge Community Association and the Alzheimer Society.
