Victoria Highlanders FC announced Tuesday, the signing of London-born striker Andrew Ofosu. Ofosu’s addition adds another attacking option for Victoria as they edge closer to kick-off of the 2017 Premier Development League (PDL) season.

Ofosu, 22, brings a wealth of experience to the Highlanders squad, having featured on several clubs including Yaxley F.C., where he registered 32 goals between the club’s Reserve and First Team. The six-foot-two attacker has also represented Haverhill Rovers F.C., Hunts FA, Sheffield F.C., Handsworth Parramore F.C. and Frickley Athletic F.C. Ofosu has seen himself as the main striker for Sheffield Hallam’s men’s First Team for the past three seasons.

“Andrew is another key piece to the puzzle that we are building here at the Highlanders,” head coach Dave Dew explained. “He has proven that he can contribute offensively and is eager to get started here on North American soil.”

Ofosu and the Highlanders open their 2017 PDL season on May 14 at Centennial Stadium against Lane United FC at 2:00 p.m. PST. For 2017 tickets, visit for more information.
