Rugby: Team Canada qualifies for quarter finals with 38-0 win over host Brazil

Team Canada is off to a 2-0 to start at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games in women's rugby sevens, with dominating wins over Brazil 38-0 today and yesterday.

Canada is competing in group C, there are a total of three groups, A, B and C.

Canada leads with six points, as do New Zealand, Great Britain and France.

Canada's Bianco Farrella has scored two tries in both games. Against Japan, which Canada won 45-0, she scored twice in the first half, while against Rio, she scored twice in the second half.

The Canadians went five-for-seven on conversion attempts versus Japan, while they scored on every attempt versus Brazil.

The teams play two 14-minutes games per day and Sunday will see the quarterfinals start. Matches are yet to be determined.
