A tough task lies ahead for a UVic Vikes women’s basketball team that returns to the friendly confines of the CARSA Performance Gym after four straight games on the road. Awaiting the Vikes are the Saskatchewan Huskies, winners of three of the last four Canada West Championships.

Playing on Friday, Nov. 17 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 18 at 5 p.m. the 4-2 Vikes will be taking on a Huskies team that is 4-0 on the season and ranked No. 8 in the nation.

The last time these teams met was in the 2015-16 season and it was the Huskies who picked up the weekend sweep of the Vikes by scores of 89-83 and 78-65.
