BC Football Conference

The Bad News Bears of football apparently are the Westshore Rebels of the British Columbia Football Conference. Recently their coach Charly Cardilicchia was suspended for the second time with the club. In criticizing the league in handling the cancellation of games he lashed out in the media.

Following the announced suspension, he stepped down as coach. During the following game last Saturday, the team lost at home.

Friday, the league announced several suspensions of Rebels players:

The BCFC rules and discipline committee announces the following as a result of player ejections during the August 25th game between the Westshore Rebels and VI Raiders.

 

  • Cordell Holder-#39 Westshore Rebels

    • Ejected by officials during the game

    • Suspended for remainder of the season including playoffs. Suspension effective immediately

  • Kolton Henderson-#55 Westshore Rebels

    • Suspended for 1 game (suspension effective Sept 8)

  • Cody Holmes-#10 Westshore Rebels

    • Suspended for 1 game (suspension effective Sept 8)

  • Aaron Rose-#75 Westshore Rebels

    • Ejected by official during the game

    • No further action taken by the BCFC

  • Kaine Stevenson-#2 Westshore Rebels

    • Ejected by officials during the game

    • No further action taken by the BCFC
