Victoria Regional Pickleball would like to see the expansion of facilities in city parks geared towards Pickleball.

All stakeholders, neighbours and users should take the easy, 10-minute survey.

According to Victoria Regional Pickleball, “Saanich is undertaking community consultation around plans for improvements to McMinn Park. The process has started so don’t miss the opportunity to have your voice heard. Answer their online survey. Do it before the end of the year. The second public event will be in early 2017. In the meantime, let Saanich know that you are interested in Pickleball.”

Saanich would also like to know about furniture, beautification and walking, cycling paths and how often you take advantage of McMinn Park.

According to Saanich, “Saanich Parks will be upgrading aging and obsolete park structures including drainage, playground equipment, furniture, and pathways. We are also exploring the potential to expand the park’s recreational program, including a washroom and youth-oriented component.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in an open house on November 22. We still want to hear your ideas.
