KidSport Greater Victoria raised $31,555 from its fundraising efforts through this year’s GoodLife Fitness Victoria Marathon. This includes registration fees from the 1090 kids in the Thrifty Food Kids Run, and donations and pledges through the CHEK Charity Pledge Program.

“This mean that 110 kids from the Greater Victoria area will be able to participate in a season of sport, which would normally be out of reach, “said Patti Hunter, General Manager, KidSport Victoria.

In September the Link’s to Change Charity Golf event at the Victoria Golf Club raised $35,198 for KidSport.

Since 2002 KidSport has helped 7,903 kids with $1,653,589 in sport registration grants to participate in sports such as soccer, hockey, karate, golf, baseball, rugby, swimming and many more in the CRD.
