Straight on the heels of his best NASCAR Xfinity Series finish this year, Victoria’s Josh Reaume has another opportunity to race, this coming weekend, at the season-ending championship race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Reaume finished in  27th place just four weeks ago at the Kansas Lottery 300 and has attracted the attention of car owner Rick Ware and will drive his Chevrolet Camaro in Saturday’s Ford Eco-Boost 300 in Florida.

Reaume will have long-standing Victoria supporter Colonial Countertops as his primary sponsor for this weekend.

There are 33 races that make up the 2016 NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule, this will be Reaume’s sixth start this year and his 33rd  over the last three years of competition, for the 26 year old Highlands area resident. For this race, this will be the fourth team that he has driven for in 2016.

His best finish still stands from the Daytona Xfinity Series race 18 months ago where he took the checkered flag in 23rd, after starting in 25th place. There are 45 cars entered, this weekend, with only 40 starting positions,  Reaume has a guaranteed spot in the 200-lap, 300-mile race.

Practice is set for Friday morning and the qualifying and race will go Saturday morning.
