The third of four qualifying days is complete at Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the 2017 SCCA National Championship Runoffs®. Action begins again Thursday at 8 a.m. Eastern Time when drivers in the 28 different car classes get one last chance to turn their best qualifying lap on the 15-turn, 2.592-mile road circuit.
Victoria’a Bill Okell was on track twice , in two separate classes. In the F production session,where he was 31st of 42 competitors, and in The GTL class he finished 15th in the 23 car field. Tomorrow is the last day to improve lap times to determine the race’s starting order.
Okell’s F Production race if at 11:35 AM Pacific time, Friday . The GTL race is on Sunday at 8:45 AM Pacific time. All 28 races are broadcast live with commentary are the SCCA Runoffs website Runoffs®.
