Victoria Highlanders FC are pleased to announce Peninsula Co-op as the Official Kids Zone Partner for the 2018 Premier Development League (PDL) season.
The family-friendly and interactive kids zone will feature an inflatable soccer goal in partnership with the World Cups Youth Soccer Festival where kids have a chance at winning prizes through Peninsula Co-op, as well as face painting, a bubble party, and other interactive kids games all in a secured location within Centennial Stadium.
“We are very pleased to be working with Peninsula Co-op to provide a kids zone at all our home games,” stated Highlanders co-owner Mark deFrias. “Creating a fun, family-friendly environment was always part of our vision for the new version of the Highlanders at Centennial Stadium. Peninsula Co-op has shared that vision with us and stepped up to the plate to create an area that not only enhances our game day experience but also allows a family to all enjoy their time at Centennial Stadium.”
“Supporting initiatives where families have the opportunity to connect is important to us. The Kids Zone adds a new dynamic to the experience by creating a fun and engaging environment where kids can be kids,” says Lindsay Gaudette, Marketing & Community Relations Manager for Peninsula Co-op.
The Highlanders return to Victoria for their home opener on May 20th against the Portland Timbers at Centennial Stadium. Season tickets are available at www.highlandersfc.ca/tickets.
