The Victoria HarbourCats started the season 0-3 and now with seven consecutive wins find themselves with a .700 winning percentage and a first place record of 7-3.

They made it lucky number seven tonight with the injection of three new players into the line-up.

After arriving Tuesday, Austin Dondanville, Tommy Jew and Ben Polschuk helped the HarbourCats run away with a 9-5 win over the Gresham GreyWolves for their second win in two nights against the Portland, Oregon suburb-dwelling team.

Pitcher Dondanville got the win, surrending just one hit over four innings and earning six strikeouts.

Polschuk hit two homers.

The HarbourCats and GreyWolves will play their third and final game of this stand in Victoria Thursday.

The Cowlitz Black Bears arrive for a three game set starting Friday night.  The Black Bears occupy second place in the South Division, sporting a 6-4 record.

Game time is 6:35 PM for Friday and 12:35 Thursday.
