Keys From The Bear Cave:

Island Rivalry:

This season, all of the games between the Clippers and Grizzlies have been high stakes games. With a game in hand, the Grizzlies are only 2 points back for first place in the Island Division. All the Grizzlies need to do tonight is win and they will be tied for first place.

Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop:

The Grizzlies have gone 9-0-0-1 in their last 10 games. All of the lines have been rolling and defensemen like Carter Berger, Dayne Finnson, and Cole Noble have all stepped their game up during the run. Alex Newhook, Jamie Rome, Ethan Nother, and T.J. Friedmann have all continued to play at a high level. Another reason why the run has gone on for so long is Kurtis Chapman, he came in and stole a couple of games.

Tough Decision:

As mentioned before, the play of Kurtis Chapman has been stellar since he arrived in December, while Grizzlies starter Zack Rose was away winning a gold medal for Canada West at the World Junior A Challenge. So who will GM/HC Craig Didmon play in net tonight? Tough decision, however the ways things are going to the Victoria netminders, both decisions might be the right one.

Match Up Of The Night

              Powerplay                      VS                               Powerplay
Both of these teams powerplays have been on fire as of late. With these teams so close together the margin for victory is very slim. The team that capitalizes on their powerplay opportunities the most will like take a very important 2 points.
