All cities with a population of at least 100,000 will be considered, however, the following locations are currently available:
*Conflicting brands will need to change: CSN, TSN and the two MSN’s.
Canada Sports News (CSN) (not yet published, but based on Victoria Sports News’ franchise model – the first in the network) is a sports news service for active residents and athletes locally. The “news” includes the greater metropolitan area of each city indicated, for example, Victoria, BC’s area spans from Sooke on the west coast of Vancouver Island to Sidney on the Saanich Peninsula to the Gulf Islands in the Strait of Georgia. The area has a total population of approximately 385,000.
Locally, VSN (or your city site) covers all sports from Archery to Zip-lining and everything in-between; no stones unturned, however, coverage includes only the area indicated.
VSN provides well-written and thought-provoking editorial content complemented by video, photo, and podcasting (live video streaming eventually). We endeavour to provide news, opinion, profiles, interviews and stats to keep our visitors informed in all things sports, recreation and health, for all Victorians and eventually, all Canadians.
