With the seeding set and all systems go, the Camosun College Chargers will embark on their ninth trip to nationals – this time as defending champions and bolstered by the squad’s best all-time record of 22 wins over 26 matches!

This year, Camosun trades in a cross-country trek to PEI for a BC ferry ride over to the Mainland where PACWEST adversary Douglas College will host the 2016 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Men’s Volleyball National Championships March 9-12 in New Westminster.

The championship seeding matches Camosun up against the #5 Mohawk Mountaineers in the Championship quarter-finals on Thursday, March 10 at 3pm. The Mountaineers finished the season 13-5 in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) and come to the championships via wildcard.

Should the Chargers prevail in the quarters, the defending champions will play the winner of the match between the top-ranked Red Deer College Kings and eighth ranked St. Thomas Tommies who open the tournament on Thursday at 1pm.
