The 38th running of the Vancouver Island Race Series is starting on Sunday, January 12th in North Saanich with the 40th edition of the Pioneer 8K. The race is hosted by the Prairie Inn Harriers Running club.

There is a total of eight races from Sooke to Sidney and Cobble Hill to Courtenay every other week. Victoria Sports News is pleased to sponsor the Island Series for the third year in a row.

The value of purchasing a season pass is $175.00.
