It was expected. A shuffling of staff from one team to the next as the Victoria market sees a new sports team make its home in the Capital Region.

Brad Norris-Jones, who was the General Manager of the Victoria HarbourCats West Coast League baseball team was scooped up by Pacific FC.

The Harbourcats, headed by owner Jim Swanson, is the most successful franchise in the WCL at the gate and one of the most successful annually on the field. Norris-Jones was mentored under Swanson’s team of leaders to create an exciting fan experience and a quality winning product on the diamond.

Now it is Norris-Jones’ opportunity to take what he learned with the HarbourCats and see if it will work on the Westshore with the new professional soccer team – the only pro team on the island.

“Our goal is to bring a first-class football experience to Vancouver Island, and Brad’s background and enthusiasm will support us in this venture,” said Josh Simpson, president, Pacific FC. “He’s a great fit to help bring our club into the community.”
